Canada’s 150 Red Couch Tour continues its pan-Canadian journey in Quebec

Percé (July 25th, 2017)

After visiting the Province of New Brunswick, the Red Couch team will make several stops in the Province of Quebec from July 25th to August 1st, as part of its pan-Canadian tour.

The Red Couch Tour is celebrating Canada’s 150th Anniversary by traveling from coast to coast to coast, inviting community members, from all walks of life, to sit on the couch and speak to what Canada means to them. After completing a very successful trip to Northern Canada and Labrador, the Red Couch continues its journey across Canada to collect stories from Canadians.

While giving a testimony from the red couch, every person is filmed and a video clip of 1 minute will be posted through the social media channels. The Red Couch project creates an excellent opportunity for Canadians to share their most relevant stories.

Spanning sixty three days and 20 thousands kilometers on the road in an RV, by September, the couch will visit every Province and Territory in Canada. The Red Couch Tour is one of 38 signature Canada 150 projects selected by the Government of Canada to create opportunities for Canadians to celebrate and build a sense of pride and attachment to Canada.
