Today we are fortunate enough to meet Shawn Buckley, a local Yellowknife citizen who comes from a long line of fisherman. He shows us his traditional method of ice fishing, pulling out a quintessential Great Slave Lake White Fish. He pulls up in his 1950’s Bombardier snowmobile and tells us what it means to be Canadian and how he finds beauty within this vast northern expanse.
