We arrived to Winnipeg on what was a warmer morning than expected. We visited our friends at the WAG (Winnipeg Art Gallery), who showed us the beautiful gallery, with notable works such as one of Rodin's thinkers. Additionally, we discussed preparations for our stop in the summer during the Red Couch's pan-Canadian tour, so be sure to mark your calendars for the exciting things we'll have for you once we're back! Goodbyes for now and we're off again, this time to the state of the art Canadian Human Rights Museum. The couch was in four pieces. After a quick build, the couch was ready for our next Canadian: John F. Young, the president and CEO of the Museum. He shared his ideas on what Canada means to him, and described the close relationship between Canadian identity and human rights. We'll be back in the summer with individual in depth stories regarding human rights, so be sure not miss it! A big thank you to our friends both at the WAG and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights for your help and support. Our next stop, a 36 hour train ride to Churchill!
